Tybee's Newly Re-Nourished Beach
Plenty of White Sand - A good place to start at Tybee's beach, walk the three miles of the beautiful beach, look for seashells, or watch the dolphins. Enjoy all the beach has to offer including offering kids the chance to build sand castles, play in tidal pools, fly kites, play beach volleyball, fish, ride a bike, or even go for a jog.

Fort Pulaski National Park
Visit the preserved 19th century military fort, built in 1829, requiring 18 yrs and 25 million bricks to complete. This park includes a shaded picnic area, exhibits, nature trails, wild life, visitor center, gift shop, musket demonstrations and ranger-guided tours of the fort are offered daily, Exciting cannon firings on Saturdays and also watch for large ocean liners/ships passing the Savannah River heading for Savannah's Port
Hwy 80 - Cockspur Island

Tybee Island Lighthouse & Museum

Visit Georgia's oldest and tallest lighthouse and Museum with artifacts and exhibits of 400 yrs. of Tybee's history. It is open 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily (closed on Tuesdays & major holidays). A small admission fee gets you in the Lighthouse, Headkeeper's House, The Summer Kitchen, 1st Assistant Keeper's House, Garage, Fuel Storage Building, 2nd Assistant Keeper's House, Gift Shop, and Tybee's Museum. Next to the museum is the North Beach Grill right on the beach.
30 Meddin Drive

Cockspur Lighthouse
Built between 1837 and 1839; at the start of the American Civil War, the light was temporarily extinguished. Miraculously, the beacon suffered only minor damages and after the war in 1866 the beacon was relit and painted white. It has survived many hurricanes and can be seen crossing the Lazaretto Bridge entering into Tybee Island. If you catch the dolphin tour you will get a close up view of the lighthouse. Make sure you bring your camera!

Tybee Island Marine Science Center
The aquarium features local marine life, reptiles, a touch pool, and a gift shop. Discovery walks are available.
